Web Link: Scotland: National Assistance Helpline (Scottish Government)

This link will take you to the Scottish Government's COVID Test and Protect webpages. If you have to self-isolate, but aren't able to get support from family, friends or neighbours, there is a National Assistance Helpline that is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The current number is 0800 111 4000, but please check the webpage in case this changes.

Here, you'll find lots of information, including links to the National Assistance Helpline (if you're not able to get support from family friends or neighbours), support and guidance on mental health, links to voluntary and community groups who might be able to help you, information and advice for parents and carers, for people with physical, learning and communication disabilities, to name but a few.

This link will take you to the Scottish Government's COVID Test and Protect webpages. Here, you'll find information on the Self-isolation Support Grant, including eligibility, and the information you'll need to provide so that you can get it

Web Link: Scotland: Test and Protect app

This link will take you to NHS Scotland's Test and Protect app, which you can download (free) onto your smartphone. Using the app is entirely voluntary. When you use the app, you will be alerted if you have been in close contact with another app user who has tested positive for coronavirus. If you test positive and you enter the unique code sent to you into the app, it will anonymously warn other app users whom you have been in close contact with.
